Risk Disclosure
Important notice
Trading leveraged financial instruments can result in substantial losses, including loss of all capital committed to a trading account. CrownX does not guarantee profit or protection from loss.
1. Automated trading risk
Automation can execute trades rapidly and repeatedly. Incorrect settings, software defects, incompatible broker conditions, connectivity failures or unexpected market behavior can increase losses before a user intervenes.
2. Market and leverage risk
Gold, foreign exchange and equity indices can move sharply. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. Stop-loss orders and risk controls may reduce risk but cannot guarantee an exit price during gaps, extreme volatility, poor liquidity or platform disruption.
3. Model and strategy risk
Market relationships change. A strategy that performs acceptably in one regime may perform poorly in another. Filters, scoring systems and adaptive controls cannot identify every adverse condition.
4. Technical and broker risk
Results may be affected by spreads, commissions, swaps, symbol specifications, minimum stop distances, latency, slippage, rejected orders, server outages, VPS failures and broker execution policies.
5. Backtests and illustrations
Backtests, simulations and illustrative graphs have inherent limitations. They may not reflect real-time execution, liquidity, slippage, psychological factors or future market conditions. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
6. Appropriate use
Use demo testing and controlled position sizing before live deployment. Do not trade money you cannot afford to lose. Consider obtaining independent financial, tax and legal advice appropriate to your circumstances.
7. User control
Autonomous does not mean risk-free or unattended forever. Users should monitor account health, license status, broker connectivity and overall exposure, and should know how to disable automated trading when necessary.
